Four Reasons Why We Should Forgive
Good Morning Everyone!
Today I have another awesome, thought provoking video from Kim Cash Tate to challenge your thinking! :)
The topic is on forgiving. Oh, I know what you are thinking. As a Christian, I do not think any of us would disagree with the concept that we should forgive others. It is a very easy phrase to say, but when someone has deeply hurt you, it is not always so easy to actually do. In fact, sometimes I am afraid to say it almost seems like we are a bit prideful in holding onto our pain and hurt. Sort of like we are trying to teach the other person a lesson or something. . .
Kim lists four reasons why we should forgive in the video. A short list, but very powerful!
Four Reasons Why We Should Forgive
Was there anything that especially stood out to you? For me, it was when Kim said that forgiving is NOT letting go of something and letting it fall to the ground, but rather it is letting go and GIVING IT TO GOD. For me, that is a huge, huge difference!
What caught your attention? Or what other thoughts do you have about forgiveness? Please share in the comments!
Have a beautiful day with your beautiful Jesus!

It's really difficult to live with the ugly past on our shoulders, and that's why forgiveness is so important to lift our spirits. This way we can leave everything behind ... and of course forgiveness doesn't mean that we have to like our wrongdoers :)
Good point, Cynia! Sometimes, it is not healthy to be around our wrongdoers--or even safe! I am thankful that we can turn boh our past as well as those who have wronged us over to Jesus--and He will take care of them!
