A treasure from today's reading:"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
Isn't that beautiful? Instruction summed up in just three points. This is what we are to do, how we are to live. 1) act justly, 2) love mercy, 3) walk humbly with our God
I especially love the last part. We are to walk WITH our God. It doesn't say we are to go on ahead all by ourselves. We are not to trail behind picking our way through life the best we can. No, we are to walk WITH God. He is right there with us, no matter what journey we are taking at that time. Whether it is an easy day, or a difficult one, He is there.
